Our verdict on Slides
Slides is a browser-based presentation platform for individuals, teams, educators, and developers. It supports deck creation from scratch or with AI, PDF and PowerPoint import, collaborative editing, comments, revision history, live presenting, speaker notes, offline presentation exports, embedding, and PowerPoint and PDF export. Its strongest fit is for organizations that want web-based presentation workflows with developer access through HTML, CSS, a REST API, and an MCP server.
The published annual plans show a low-cost entry point. Lite costs $5 per user per month when billed annually and includes unlimited private decks, 1 GB of storage, one collaborator per deck, 50 AI credits per month, offline presentation, and PDF export. Pro costs $10 per user per month billed annually, adding unlimited storage, up to three collaborators per deck, and 400 AI credits per month. Team costs $20 per month billed annually and includes Pro for two users, unlimited deck collaborators, SSO, custom branding and subdomain, a theme editor, and a shared media library. The free plan provides a way to start without a paid subscription.
Slides stands out for combining presentation authoring with web and developer workflows. Dropbox synchronization supports offline presentation exports, while integrations include YouTube, Vimeo, Google Maps, Unsplash, GIPHY, and Google Analytics.
