Sitelite is a cloud-based event registration and event-day management platform for ministries, churches, camps, retreats, conferences, youth events, and other faith-based organizations. It provides branded registration pages with custom subdomains, custom forms, guardian waivers with timestamped signatures, payment collection, and automated communications. Its strongest fit is a small church or ministry running individual events that need registration and operational coordination without a subscription for free events.

The published pricing structure uses event and registration fees rather than conventional monthly plans. Free events have no platform fee. Paid registration uses a flat platform fee on paid registrants, with the fee determined by the ticket price; registrations for tickets of $50 or more are charged $1 per paid registrant. Stripe card processing is charged separately at Stripe's stated standard rate of 2.9% plus 30¢ per transaction. This model can suit occasional events and straightforward paid registration, while organizations should account for both the platform fee and payment-processing cost when setting prices.

Operational coverage is broader than a basic sign-up form. Sitelite supports two-, three-, or four-installment plans, capacity limits, automatic waitlists, cabin and group assignments, transportation manifests, searchable digital check-in, dietary and medical reports, payment alerts, and private event photo galleries with per-child consent. The tradeoff is scope and access: the platform is web-only, includes an attendee limit of 100 in its category specifications, and is oriented toward event workflows rather than full camp administration. Choose Sitelite for smaller, event-based ministry programs; organizations needing broader camp administration or larger attendee capacity should consider a more expansive alternative.

Sitelite pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Free events have no platform fee
    • Waivers, installments, waitlists, and check-in are included
    • Assignments, medical reports, and photo consent support event operations
  • Where it doesn't
    • Web-only access limits mobile platform coverage
    • Attendee limits may constrain larger events
    • Focused on events rather than full camp administration
