Our verdict on Sitegoat

Sitegoat is a browser-based generator for turning uploaded images into Minecraft map art in Java Edition. It is aimed at players and builders who want to create image-based artwork without mods, configure the artwork's dimensions, and place the result in a world through a vanilla datapack. Processing occurs in the browser, and the tool supports current Minecraft Java versions. Bedrock players are not a fit because Bedrock Edition is unsupported.

The workflow focuses on visual control before installation. Users can preview generated artwork live, set the map width and height, and choose how the source image fits through crop, pad, or stretch options. Smooth and sharp detail rendering settings provide another way to adjust the result. These controls make Sitegoat suitable for users who want to refine composition and rendering before generating the build, while its browser-based approach keeps the creation process in one place.

Installation is the clearest differentiator. In supported desktop browsers, Sitegoat can install the generated datapack directly to a world folder. Users can also download a ZIP datapack for manual installation, and a clear command is available for undoing a build. The service is free, with no paid tiers described. Choose Sitegoat for straightforward Java map-art generation and datapack delivery; choose another tool if Bedrock support, schematic or structure exports, or documented material lists are essential.
