SimpleMDM is a cloud-based, web-accessible mobile device management platform for organizations managing iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV fleets. It is suited to IT teams that need centralized enrollment, configuration profiles, application deployment, device actions, kiosk deployments, and automation across Apple hardware. Supported enrollment methods include Apple Automated Device Enrollment, Apple Configurator, enrollment links, QR codes, and account-driven enrollment. The platform also supports Apple Business Manager and Apple School Manager.
Pricing is available through monthly and annual per-device plans. The Monthly plan costs $3 per device per month, while the Annual plan costs $2.50 per device per month when billed annually. Both include a hosted service, Munki integration for macOS, support, and onboarding assistance. A 30-day trial is available without a credit card. The Enterprise plan adds all product features, volume discounts, flexible purchasing options, and dedicated support, with custom pricing. Teams comparing costs should weigh the annual commitment against the lower per-device rate and the additional purchasing flexibility in Enterprise.
Automation and Apple administration are the product's clearest strengths. Configuration profiles cover accounts, services, restrictions, passcodes, and SSO; administrators can deploy apps and installer packages, manage App Store, VPP, custom, and enterprise apps, and distribute macOS software through hosted Munki and self-service tools. Single App Mode supports supervised iPhone and iPad kiosk deployments, while remote wipe, lock, restart, Lost Mode, script execution, scheduled automation, REST API access, and webhooks extend operational control. Integrations include LDAP, SAML, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zapier, ServiceNow, and AWS Lambda. Choose SimpleMDM for Apple-centered administration and automation; teams needing Android or Windows management should consider a different product.
