SigmaOS review
A distinctive Mac-only browser for organizing research across workspaces.

SigmaOS is a macOS-only web browser for people who organize research, pages, and web apps by project or context. Instead of conventional tab rows, it uses workspaces and vertical page lists, with Focus Mode, split-screen browsing, Lazy Search, private workspaces, separate cookies, and automatic synchronization across devices. It also includes a built-in ad blocker, Chrome Web Store extension support, and Airis AI features for web research. Its WebKit foundation and Mac-only availability make it a focused desktop choice rather than a general browser for every platform.
The pricing structure separates the core workspace experience from expanded AI usage. The Basic plan includes unlimited workspaces, a fast ad blocker, and limited Airis Assistant access. Personal Pro costs $20 per month and adds unlimited Advanced Airis powered by GPT-4o, high-usage Look it up access, and high-usage Interactive Summaries. Personal Max costs $30 per month and adds more LLM models, including Llama and Claude, plus unlimited Look it up queries and unlimited Interactive Summaries. The paid tiers make the most sense for buyers who specifically want frequent AI-assisted research rather than only workspace organization.
SigmaOS also fits into an established Mac browsing setup through Chrome Web Store extensions, Apple Keychain, password managers including 1Password, Dashlane, LastPass, Keeper, Zoho Vault, and Bitwarden, and search options including DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, You.com, and Bing. Choose it if vertical page management, separate workspaces, and focused research match how you work. Choose another browser if you need Windows coverage or prefer a conventional tab-row interface, and weigh the $20 monthly entry point carefully if AI features are not central to your workflow.
