ShowCam is an iOS presentation-recording app for teachers, founders, support teams, and other presenters who want to create one video from presentation materials and a presenter camera. It can display photo slideshows, device-library videos, live web pages, PDFs, Markdown, or text while recording the material, camera view, narration, and application audio. Recordings are saved to Photos and can be shared, and the app does not require an account.
The free plan provides four presentation sources, front- and rear-camera recording, a laser pointer, saving and sharing, and no watermark. The paid plans are ShowCam Pro Weekly, ShowCam Pro Yearly, and ShowCam Pro Lifetime. Each adds unlimited recording, pen and highlighter annotations, background effects, camera styling, and no ads. That structure makes the free tier suitable for occasional recordings, while frequent presenters gain more recording capacity and visual controls through Pro.
ShowCam’s strongest distinction is the breadth of materials it can bring into a presenter-led recording while keeping the camera bubble and narration in the same video. Optional auto-advance supports photo slideshows, the built-in browser supports interactive web content, and annotations add presentation emphasis.
