Our verdict on ShopIQ
ShopIQ is a hosted, headless commerce and product information platform from WebIQ B.V. It brings product information, stock, pricing, orders, and customers into one record, then distributes commerce operations across storefronts, marketplaces, B2B portals, mobile channels, partner feeds, and physical stores. Its capabilities cover product and category structures, variants, rich media, inherited attributes, checkout, payments, fulfilment, returns, promotions, and customer management. The fit is strongest for mid-market teams in retail, fashion, and logistics that manage complex catalogues and multiple sales channels.
ShopIQ’s ecosystem fit is a central consideration. The platform offers a REST API, XML and CSV import/export, JSON webhooks, and secured partner access. Listed integrations include Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, SAP, Dynamics 365, Akeneo, Pimcore, Mollie, Adyen, DHL, and PostNL. It also generates multilingual Google Shopping XML feeds automatically. This combination supports connections across commerce platforms, ERP systems, PIMs, marketplaces, payment providers, carriers, and warehouse systems, making ShopIQ relevant where commerce data must move between several operational tools.
Commercial planning is handled through contact with sales rather than a published plan structure. WebIQ states that pricing consists of a licence plus implementation scoped to the environment, so buyers should expect a tailored purchasing process. The platform’s breadth is useful when one system needs to cover PIM, multichannel selling, checkout, orders, payments, returns, promotions, APIs, and feeds. It is less suited to a retailer seeking a simple single-channel storefront or a self-serve purchase path. Choose ShopIQ when unified commerce data and integration coverage matter more than a narrow storefront tool; consider an alternative when the operational scope is smaller.
