SHELLNGN is a web-based server management platform for developers, system administrators, home-lab users, and teams. It provides browser access to SSH terminals, SFTP file transfers, and RDP/VNC remote desktops, with support for SSH, SFTP, RDP, VNC, and Telnet. Tabs, command history, auto-completion, snippets, server folders, notes, reusable identities, and single-click access help organize recurring server work. Cloud is hosted without installation, while Pro runs as a Docker application on customer infrastructure and supports cloud and LAN servers.

The published plans separate hosted access from self-hosted Pro licensing. Cloud Basic costs $3.25 per month with annual billing and includes 10 concurrent SSH sessions, 3 SFTP sessions, 2 remote desktop sessions, up to 30 saved servers, and priority email support. Cloud Advanced costs $8.25 per month with annual billing and raises those limits to 20 SSH sessions, 10 SFTP sessions, 5 remote desktop sessions, and unlimited saved servers. The Cloud Free Trial includes one SSH session, one SFTP session, one remote desktop session, and up to three saved servers. Pro Personal costs $39 per year for one user and non-commercial use; Pro Commercial costs $199 per year and adds multiple users, teams, server sharing, commercial use, and priority email support.

SHELLNGN fits organizations that want browser access across desktop and responsive mobile web environments, especially where shared server access and identity controls matter. SAML 2.0 single sign-on supports Okta, Azure AD, and other SAML identity providers, while team accounts and centralized access control suit collaborative administration. The product also covers remote desktops through RDP and VNC, rather than limiting the workspace to terminal sessions. Choose it when browser delivery, SFTP, shared access, or Docker deployment are priorities. Choose another SSH client when port forwarding is essential or when a permanent free plan is required.
