ServerPoint VPS provides KVM-based virtual servers for developers, website operators, and small to medium-large businesses. It supports both Linux and Windows deployments, with full root or administrator access for customers who need control over server software and configuration. Plans are available through a web client portal and include allocated vCPUs, RAM, disk space, and bandwidth. The service offers general-purpose, compute-optimized, storage-optimized, and high-memory configurations, giving businesses room to match infrastructure to different workloads.
Pricing starts at $5 per month for the G5.1 plan, with 2 AMD Milan vCPUs, 1 GB RAM, 100 GB disk, and 2 TB bandwidth. The G5.2 costs $10 per month, while G5.4, G5.8, and G5.12 cost $20, $35, and $50 per month. Older-generation G3 plans also start at $5 per month, with 1 GB RAM, 35 GB disk, and 2 TB bandwidth on G3.1. Hourly billing uses deposited funds and is capped at the advertised monthly price. Windows pricing is higher than Linux pricing for comparable configurations, so Linux is the clearer fit for budget-focused deployments. Managed service plans, one-click cPanel deployment, and integrations including Plesk and Microsoft SQL Server expand its administration options.
The platform’s strongest fit is for teams that want VPS flexibility without giving up a managed-service path. Private networking supports communication between VPS servers, while Ceph distributed NVMe storage is designed for the storage layer. Daily backup snapshots are available as an add-on rather than included in the base plans. ServerPoint also offers six global data-center locations, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Exchange integrations. Choose it when root or administrator access, operating-system choice, and flexible billing matter; consider another provider if broader location coverage or included backups is the priority.
