Selfhost.dev Managed ClickHouse provides dedicated ClickHouse instances on AWS for analytics workloads including events, logs, metrics, time-series data and dashboards. It supports web and API access, HTTP and native TCP protocols, and selectable ClickHouse versions 24.3, 24.8 and 25.1. AWS users that want managed infrastructure with control over versions, regions, instance sizes and storage modes are the clearest fit.

The published Pay-as-you-go plan starts at $27 per month and includes a dedicated ClickHouse instance on AWS, backups and snapshots, optional Keeper high availability, and BYOC support. Storage can use EBS, S3-compatible or tiered options. Reactive autoscaling and scheduled start/stop can help align infrastructure with changing workloads, while read replicas and distributed queries support broader analytical deployments. The service also provides live metrics with email and Slack alerts.

Selfhost.dev offers a choice between deployments in its AWS account and BYOC deployment in the customer’s AWS account. That makes it more adaptable for teams with AWS requirements or a preference for customer-account control, but less suitable for organizations seeking a cloud-agnostic ClickHouse service. Optional Multi-AZ ClickHouse Keeper high availability, automated backup policies and replicas give teams room to shape the deployment around availability and scale needs. Choose it for flexible, managed ClickHouse on AWS; consider an alternative if a free plan or non-AWS deployment is central to the buying decision.
