Our verdict on SecureKids
SecureKids is a parental-control application for Android smartphones and tablets. It is designed for families that want to manage children’s devices remotely through a web panel or parent account. Controls include application restrictions, website whitelists and content filters, scheduled device breaks, child-device geolocation, call controls, alarms, emergency alerts, and usage statistics. Its focus is Android mobile devices and tablets rather than a broad multi-platform household system.
The freemium structure gives families a free plan covering one child device. The published paid plans show Family 5 at €29.95 per year for five devices and Family 10 at €49.95 per year for ten devices. Both paid tiers include application blocking, website whitelists, geolocation, call blocking, app time limits, and category-based app blocking. Family 1 includes application blocking, website whitelists, geolocation, call blocking, alarms, and statistics.
