Our verdict on SchemImporter
SchemImporter is an open-source plugin for Paper-based Minecraft servers that downloads schematic files from HTTP or HTTPS URLs into FastAsyncWorldEdit or WorldEdit schematic folders. It supports .schem, .schematic, and .nbt files, making it suited to server administrators who want remote imports without adding a standalone editor or 3D preview tool. Deployment is self-hosted, and the plugin is distributed under the GPL-3.0-only license.
Its strongest fit is controlled server-side importing. Administrators can define a host whitelist, use a bypass permission when needed, set file-size limits and download timeouts, and protect existing files from overwrites with another bypass permission. Asynchronous downloads help keep imports separate from the main administrative flow, while console logging records successful imports. Configuration reloads and editable plugin messages provide additional control for server operations.
SchemImporter stays deliberately narrow.
