Scanopy is network discovery and documentation software for homelab users, IT operations teams, managed service providers, security teams, and organizations managing on-premises or air-gapped networks. It discovers hosts, services, subnets, interfaces, and topology, then presents the results through physical, logical, workload, and application views. Deployment options include web, Windows, macOS, Linux, and self-hosted environments. A free, open-source Community Edition and a 14-day free trial give smaller teams and individual users ways to evaluate the product.

Pricing scales by collaboration, export, deployment, and support needs. Community Edition is self-hosted and includes one network, one user seat, and no time restrictions. Starter costs $11.99 per month with annual billing and adds discovery, automated network mapping, scheduled discovery, visualization, PNG and SVG export, and shareable diagrams. Pro costs $39.99 per month with annual billing and adds embeddable diagrams, HTML, PDF, and Mermaid export, plus API access. Business costs $79.99 per month with annual billing and adds Confluence export, priority support, an onboarding call, and webhooks. Enterprise provides custom deployment, custom SSO, managed deployment, air-gapped deployment, and SAML. Commercial self-hosted options cost $4,000 or $6,000 per year, depending on organization scope and features.

Scanopy fits environments that need more than a static network diagram. Scheduled rescans help keep documentation current, while workload visualization covers hosts, hypervisors, and containers, and application dependency mapping connects infrastructure to services. Discovery integrations include SNMP, Docker, Podman, UniFi Controller, and HPE Networking Instant On. Choose Scanopy when topology discovery, multiple visualization layers, exports, and flexible deployment matter. The Community Edition is a narrower fit for teams needing multiple networks, multiple seats, API access, or advanced sharing and export workflows.
