ScaleRead is a book-summary service for solo readers who want to match a summary to the time they have. Summaries come in fourteen lengths, from one second to fifteen minutes, and can be browsed by genre, collection, or author. Readers can also access full ebooks and audiobooks for hundreds of classics. The web and iOS apps sync reading position, making it possible to move between those platforms without losing a place.
The free account gives summaries up to 30 seconds for every book, plus full summary lengths and full ebooks or audiobooks for three starter classics and two books the reader chooses. Its Daily Pick is open to everyone for the day. Premium Monthly costs $4.99 per user per month and unlocks all summary lengths, AI-narrated summaries, every ScaleRead ebook and audiobook, and no free-slot limits.
