SafetySphere is health and safety management software for Canadian and US safety managers, industrial teams, and construction crews. Its scope spans incident reporting, field-level hazard assessments, job hazard analyses, permits, inspections, audits, training records, corrective actions, emergency response, and compliance reporting. Workers can complete browser-based workflows on phones and tablets, while managers track safety records, hazards, training, inspections, and exports in one platform.

Pricing is organized around active workers. The Basic plan costs CAD 16 per active worker per month, or CAD 153.60 per active worker per year, and includes FLHA, JHA, incidents, hazards, inspections, toolbox talks, worker profiles, projects, documents, certificates, and email support. Premium costs CAD 20 monthly or CAD 192 annually per active worker and adds permits, advanced exports, audit management, analytics dashboards, custom branding, and priority support. Enterprise adds multi-branch support, API and integrations, SSO/SCIM when ready, onboarding, custom terms, and dedicated support. A 30-day free trial is available.

The product’s strongest fit is for teams that want one safety system covering both field reporting and management oversight. Detailed workflows support hazard controls, weather tracking, worker sign-off, corrective-action escalation, inspection photos and ratings, audit findings and scoring, training expiry alerts, emergency muster lists, and headcount confirmation. Its ecosystem can connect with HRIS, ERP, document management, reporting, identity, and notification systems, with API and integrations available at the Enterprise level. Current field access runs in a browser; native iOS and Android apps and offline support are planned. Teams needing broad browser-based coverage should consider SafetySphere, while organizations requiring native mobile or offline workflows should evaluate alternatives.

SafetySphere pros and cons

    • Responsive browser workflows support phones and tablets in the field
  • Where it doesn't
    • There is no free plan
    • Current access is browser-based rather than through native mobile apps
    • Enterprise pricing uses custom terms instead of published per-worker rates
