Rublon MFA is a multi-factor authentication platform for organizations securing employee and partner access across networks, servers, cloud applications, VPNs, workstations, and on-premises applications. It suits teams that need centralized administration while keeping existing identity infrastructure in place. Deployment is hybrid, with support for web, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, APIs, and self-hosted environments. The platform is designed for organizations that want more factor choices than mobile approval alone.

Authentication coverage is a major strength. Rublon MFA supports Mobile Push, TOTP through Rublon Authenticator or third-party authenticator apps, FIDO2/U2F security keys, passkeys, QR codes, YubiKey OTP, email links, SMS passcodes, SMS links, phone calls, and RFID. Administrators can manage authentication, activity, audit, and phone logs in the Rublon Admin Console. Remembered Devices, Authorized Networks, location-based policies, and directory synchronization with Active Directory, Entra ID, and OpenLDAP add control for varied access requirements. Its current sign-in flow still uses primary passwords, so it is not a passwordless authentication platform.

Integration options cover native connectors and plugins, the Rublon Authentication Proxy, Rublon Access Gateway, Rublon App Shield, Rublon Identity Bridge, REST API, and SDKs. The listed ecosystem includes RADIUS, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Windows, Remote Desktop/RDP, VPN, Linux SSH, WordPress, Jira, and Confluence. The Free plan protects 1 user and includes unlimited application integrations, an SSO Portal, and Rublon MFA Policies; a 30-day free trial is also available. Business adds all features with a 15-license minimum, while Enterprise requires 300 licenses and a custom contract. Choose Rublon MFA for broad factor coverage and hybrid integration; smaller deployments beyond one protected user or organizations requiring passwordless sign-in should look elsewhere.
