RPG Story Toolkit is a worldbuilding and game-development workspace for developers, game masters, writers, and worldbuilders. It combines a rich-text editor with reference linking, customizable databases for characters, items, locations, calendars, and other records, plus timelines, maps, conditional dialogue, and public wiki publishing. The browser app works alongside a local-first Mac desktop app, giving lore-heavy projects a place to connect narrative content with structured game data.
The pricing structure covers both offline and web-based workflows. The free Desktop plan provides unlimited documents and projects, works fully offline, and stores files on the user's machine. Web Free costs $0 per month and includes the full editor, database, timeline, and world map, along with public wiki publishing and data export. Pro costs $5 per month when billed monthly and adds unlimited image uploads, multiple projects, desktop-to-web synchronization, unlimited documents, and everything in Web Free. Optional cloud sync is tied to Pro for desktop projects.
