RMS Cloud review
A hospitality PMS with detailed trust accounting and multi-property reporting.

RMS Cloud is a cloud-based property management and accounting platform for hotels, motels, campgrounds, serviced apartments, lettings, and multi-property hospitality operators. Its accounting scope includes owner and trust accounting, owner statement generation and emailing, bank-statement reconciliation, cash and accrual methods, and financial reporting by general-ledger account code. It also connects operational records such as reservations, charges, receipts, and account balances with broader property-management workflows.
Pricing is quote-based, with no free plan. Accelerate combines property management, accounting and financials, batch invoicing and statements, reporting and analytics, housekeeping, and maintenance. Elevate includes everything in Accelerate, then adds multi-site and enterprise management and API access. Owner and trust accounting is available as an optional add-on, so operators should clarify the required accounting scope and configuration during the sales process. This structure suits businesses that want hospitality operations and accounting within one platform, while smaller teams seeking a standalone, publicly priced accounting tool may prefer a different fit.
RMS Cloud’s strongest accounting case is its coverage of owner and trust workflows alongside portfolio reporting. Operators can generate and email owner statements, reconcile bank statements, select cash or accrual accounting methods, and report across multiple properties on a consolidated basis. Integrations include QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB AccountRight Online, accounting systems, property management systems, point-of-sale systems, revenue management systems, payment systems, and online travel agencies. The platform also offers an open API with webhook and sandbox support. Choose RMS Cloud when hospitality operations, property accounting, and multi-property visibility need to work together; consider alternatives if trust accounting is central but an optional add-on or sales-led pricing model is unsuitable.
