Riffloop is a music practice studio for musicians who want to work with existing songs rather than generate original arrangements. Its Chrome extension and web Studio separate YouTube videos or uploaded audio into vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other stems. Musicians can mute or solo parts to create backing tracks, change key, slow playback while preserving pitch, and loop difficult passages. Chord, key and BPM detection add reference points for learning or rehearsal. With web, iOS, Android and Chrome extension access, it suits solo musicians and small-scale practice workflows.

The standout capability is the combination of six-stem separation and practice controls. A-B looping, adjustable loop regions, pitch shifting by up to 12 semitones and variable-speed playback target repeated work on particular passages; chord display can help users follow the song. Upload support covers MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC and OGG. According to the product description, extension and mobile separation runs on the user's device.
