RevenueDot review
A free, open-source choice for subscription revenue cohorts, with behavioral analysis limits.

RevenueDot is an open-source backend and cloud service for app subscriptions, in-app purchases and subscription analytics. It verifies transactions from the App Store, Google Play, Amazon Appstore, Stripe and the web, then synchronizes customer entitlements. Teams can manage paywalls, experiments, audience targeting and web checkout while reviewing subscription retention, cohort explorer and realized LTV reports. SDKs cover iOS, Android, React Native, Expo, Flutter, web, Capacitor, Cordova, Unity and Kotlin Multiplatform, with web, mobile, API and self-hosted deployment options.
The published plans make the entry point unusually accessible for subscription teams. Pro includes all product features at $0 per month until apps make $10,000 in monthly tracked revenue. Above that threshold, pricing is 0.5% of revenue, capped at $999 per month. Pro also includes 36 integrations and webhooks, plus SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect single sign-on. Enterprise uses custom pricing from $50,000 per year, adds volume pricing above $1 million in monthly app revenue, SCIM provisioning, signed compliance exports, a 99.9% uptime SLA and a commercial self-hosting license.
For cohort work, RevenueDot combines 43 subscription and revenue charts with retention cohorts, cohort exploration, realized LTV, scheduled CSV or Parquet exports and a REST API for customers, subscriptions, catalog and charts. Integrations include Segment, Amplitude, Mixpanel, PostHog, Firebase, BigQuery, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Meta, Braze, Slack, Intercom, Zendesk and Google AdMob. The focus is subscription and revenue behavior rather than broad product analytics: behavioral cohorts are unsupported, and warehouse import is unavailable. Pick RevenueDot for free or usage-based subscription revenue analysis tied to app monetization; teams needing behavioral cohorting or warehouse-first workflows should choose another tool.
