Our verdict on Rencana
Rencana is a student planner and AI study app for university and high-school students. It brings timetables, assignment deadlines, notes, revision materials, grades, reminders, flashcards, quizzes, and study-community features into one workspace. Students can generate timetables from photos, import calendar events and tasks, organize materials by subject, share work with friends, and view academic progress. The product is available on the web, iOS, and Android, making it a fit for students who want their planning and study tools together rather than spread across separate apps.
Its strongest area is study-planning depth. The timetable and deadline planner is supported by repeatable task reminders, subject workspaces, PDF attachments, quizzes, a grade calculator, study insights, and home and lock-screen widgets. AI features include schedule scanning, task extraction, study assistance, and an AI subject tutor. The Free Starter plan includes timetables, tasks, smart notes, an AI schedule scanner, up to 10 flashcards per deck, and a basic AI allowance. Plus Everyday adds a 10x higher AI allowance, premium themes, calendar sync, and custom reminders, while Pro All access adds the maximum listed AI allowance, an unlimited expert AI tutor, larger flashcard decks, unlimited Study Snaps, and collaborative flashcard sharing.
Rencana also fits students who work across existing school and personal services. It lists Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Google Classroom, and Spotify integrations, alongside study circles, task sharing, and friend activity. According to the vendor's pricing notes, the listed Web Promo prices are RM4.90 and RM10.90; iOS subscriptions are billed through Apple and may display separately. Students who need timetable creation, academic tracking, and revision tools should find the feature mix relevant. Those seeking a narrowly focused daily task list or a documented focus-session workflow may prefer a simpler planner.
