Recoveryfix EDB Recovery review
A capable EDB recovery toolkit, but its $499 starting price limits its appeal.

Recoveryfix EDB Recovery is Windows desktop software for recovering corrupted, deleted, dismounted, or backed-up Exchange Server EDB data. It is designed for professional recovery and migration workflows involving offline EDB files, Live Exchange, Outlook Profiles, and Office 365. The software handles emails, contacts, calendars, tasks, journals, notes, and attachments, making it suitable when mailbox data needs to be recovered selectively and delivered to another destination.
Pricing is license-based rather than subscription-based. The Corporate License costs $499 one time and provides lifetime validity, unlimited mailbox recovery and migration, and coverage for one organization at one geographical location. Corporate Premium costs $899 one time and extends that scope to one organization across multiple geographical locations. The Technician License costs $1,399 one time and is intended for multiple systems and locations, while retaining lifetime validity and unlimited mailbox recovery and migration. A free trial is described, but saving is limited to 25 items per folder, so full recovery work requires a paid license.
Its main strength is the breadth of the recovery workflow: users can batch-process multiple EDB files, preview mailbox data before export, apply date, time, and other filters, and preserve mailbox hierarchy and metadata. Results can be exported to PST, EML, and MSG or saved directly to Live Exchange, Office 365, and Outlook profiles. That makes it a practical fit for teams handling varied Exchange recovery destinations. However, the $499 entry price and Windows-only availability make it less suitable for occasional recovery needs, small budgets, or environments that require a broader operating-system range. Choose it when professional EDB recovery and migration justify a paid desktop license; consider another option for lighter, lower-cost use.
