Our verdict on Recon-X
Recon-X is payment reconciliation software for finance teams, banks, payment gateways, and enterprise companies. It ingests transaction data from banks, payment gateways, and ledgers, matches related records with AI, routes exceptions for review, and posts confirmed matches to ledgers. The feature set suits mid-market finance teams that need controls around transaction matching, reconciliation review, auditability, and multi-currency handling.
Pricing is structured across three monthly plans. Starter costs $199 per month and includes Standard AI matching and email support. Business costs $699 per month and adds Advanced AI matching and rules, along with priority support and onboarding. Enterprise has custom pricing and includes custom connectors and SLAs, a dedicated implementation team, and a SOC 2-aligned security review. The published plans also describe a free trial for Starter and Business, without specifying its duration or card requirements. There is no free plan.
