ReclaiMe File Recovery is desktop data recovery software for Windows PCs. It covers internal and external hard drives, USB drives, memory cards, disk images, NAS devices, DAS devices, and selected RAID configurations. Its recovery scope includes deleted files and folders, formatted drives, RAW filesystems, and boot-failure scenarios. Standard editions focus on Windows filesystems, while Ultimate editions add recovery from Linux and Apple filesystems. It suits Windows users handling varied storage media, especially those who need NAS, RAID, or image-based recovery alongside ordinary file recovery.
Pricing is structured as four one-time licenses. Standard Limited costs $59.95 and provides recovery from Windows filesystems with a license key valid for 7 days. Standard Lifetime costs $89.95, covers Windows PCs, and adds VHD and VHDX creation. Ultimate Limited costs $119.95, supports Windows, Linux, and MacOS filesystems, and also has a 7-day license key. Ultimate Lifetime costs $189.95 and covers Windows and Linux PCs, Mac disks, and NAS devices, with support for APFS, UFS, HFS, HFS+, EXT, BTRFS, and XFS. The tier choice depends mainly on license duration and filesystem or device coverage.
The strongest reason to choose ReclaiMe is breadth within a Windows-based workflow. File and folder search, scan previews, disk image creation, VHD/VHDX creation, memory-card recovery, and RAID support give it more range than a tool focused only on deleted files from a local drive. RAID recovery may require the separate Free RAID Recovery companion tool, and supported configurations matter. The product does not provide bootable recovery, and Ultimate's Linux and Apple filesystem support does not mean the application runs natively on those operating systems. Choose it for Windows-led recovery involving NAS, RAID, or mixed filesystems; choose an alternative if native macOS operation or bootable recovery is central.
