Razorpay Payment Gateway helps merchants, schools, ecommerce businesses, SaaS companies, and other organizations accept online payments. Its payment options include cards, UPI, netbanking, wallets, EMI, Pay Later, and Credit Card on UPI. Businesses can also use payment links, pages, and buttons, alongside subscriptions, refunds, transfers, invoices, and dashboard-based payment management. The combination is suited to Indian businesses that need more than a checkout form, especially marketplaces managing payments to vendors.
Pricing is transaction-based rather than a fixed monthly subscription. According to Razorpay's published standard India pricing, Pay-as-you-go charges 2% per transaction plus GST for standard usage, with no setup fee or annual maintenance charge. That structure avoids fixed gateway charges, but transaction costs scale with payment volume; businesses should account for the fee and GST when comparing payment economics. There is no free plan.
