Raygun Application Performance Monitoring is a cloud service for software teams that need server-side visibility into web application performance. It captures request traces with method, query, dependency and external API details, then presents performance trends, millisecond-level flame charts, call trees, filters and issue notifications. The product supports Node.js, Ruby, .NET, .NET Core and Azure App Service. Its audience is engineering and performance teams investigating slow requests, database activity, deployment effects and application dependencies rather than teams monitoring native mobile applications.

Pricing is usage-based and billed against reserved trace volume. The Basic plan costs $80 per 100,000 traces per month with annual billing or $120 with monthly billing, and includes unlimited apps and members, Apdex, sampling and code filtering, flamechart diagnostics, issue notifications, and advanced search and filters. Team costs $160 per 200,000 traces per month annually or $240 monthly, adding inbound filters, third-party integrations, unlimited custom dashboards, source code integration, and user roles and permissions. Business costs $800 per 1,000,000 traces per month annually or $1,200 monthly, adding SAML SSO, a dedicated account manager, priority support, product training and onboarding, and a multi-year discount. Enterprise offers custom terms and compliance, data volume discounts, custom SLAs, custom data retention policies and invoiced billing. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.

The standout strength is trace depth: teams can inspect code paths, database and dependency activity, external APIs, deployment tracking and source-code links with GitHub. Custom dashboards and the Raygun API support broader performance workflows, while integrations with Jira, PagerDuty and Slack connect findings to team processes. However, the product lists web coverage only. Raygun offers separate Real User Monitoring for web and mobile applications, but this APM listing is not suited to buyers seeking a dedicated mobile app monitoring platform. Choose it for detailed server-side web diagnostics; choose another category-focused option for mobile-first monitoring.
