Our verdict on RawPicker

RawPicker is a desktop photo-culling and selection application for wedding, event, portrait, and other professional photographers. It imports RAW folders and evaluates images for sharpness, exposure, noise, duplicates, and face quality. Photographers can group similar poses, rate images with stars, flags, and color labels, then work offline across macOS and Windows. Project sharing and password-protected branded client galleries extend the product beyond local selection work.

The published plan structure gives the Free plan a useful starting point: it includes AI culling for up to 1,000 photos per month, star ratings, duplicate detection, offline mode, a desktop app for macOS and Windows, and 5GB of cloud backup. The Pro plan adds unlimited AI culling, stars, colors, and flags, 500GB of cloud backup, and unlimited client galleries. RawPicker is currently presented as an invite-only closed beta, and public paid subscriptions are unavailable, so the plan structure is clearer than the current path to paid access. The launch offer shown for the paid plan expired on May 31, 2026.

Its strongest fit is for photographers who want local, offline culling while keeping established editing and delivery workflows. Export support covers Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Lightroom Classic, Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe DNG Converter. Perceptual hashing supports near-duplicate and burst detection, while project permissions distinguish owners, editors, and viewers. Choose RawPicker if offline access, AI-assisted selection, broad export options, and client sharing matter together. Photographers needing an immediately available paid service should look elsewhere while RawPicker remains in closed beta.
