RaiDrive review
A practical drive-mounting client for Windows users who do not need folder sync.

RaiDrive connects WebDAV, SFTP, FTP, cloud storage, and NAS services as local drives. It is aimed at individuals, small teams, and organizations that want to work with remote files through familiar file-management tools rather than synchronize entire folders. On Windows, the graphical application mounts locations in File Explorer; on Linux, the command-line application supports mounting and management. Supported services include Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, MEGA, pCloud, SharePoint, Box, Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
The free Standard plan supports up to 8 drives, network-drive access, advertisement-supported use, and forum support. Paid plans add different combinations of unlimited drives, license sharing, no advertisements, network drives, local-disk mounting, email support, bandwidth control, and file locking. Starter includes bandwidth control; Individual adds local-disk mounting; Team includes file locking; and Essential offers local-disk and file-locking add-ons. The published plans also show a 14-day trial for paid plans, while the Standard plan remains the straightforward entry point for free use.
RaiDrive’s standout strength is direct access: users can open, edit, save, and stream remote files without downloading an entire file or synchronizing a folder. TLS/SSL configuration, cache encryption for temporary local files, network sharing, process-access monitoring, and supported file locking extend its usefulness for storage-focused workflows. Choose it if drive mounting and direct remote access matter more than synchronization, especially on Windows or Linux. Choose an alternative if you need folder sync or mobile applications.
