Our verdict on Radio Garden

Radio Garden is a live-radio listening service for people who want to explore stations by place rather than start with a preset list. Its globe lets listeners rotate to city markers and tune in, while search offers another route by country, city, or station name. The service is available on web, iOS, and Android, and its collection is stated as over 40,000 stations. That makes it suited to curious listeners who enjoy finding broadcasts from specific places, as well as people who want a simple way to return to favorites.

Discovery is the product's defining strength. City markers turn geography into the main browsing interface, with search, saved favorites, and curated playlists and destinations as supporting paths. This focus makes Radio Garden a natural fit for location-led listening and exploration across countries and cities. It is less compelling for someone looking for a radio app whose defining value is a wider set of listening tools; the described feature set stays centered on finding and playing live stations. The phone apps can continue playback while the device is asleep, which supports listening beyond active browsing.

Radio Garden has a free plan and describes a Premium subscription, but the published information here does not provide plan-by-plan pricing or explain what Premium adds. The service is offered through web and native mobile apps, and email is the listed support channel. Choose it if an interactive globe, city-based discovery, and access across phone and web match how you want to find live radio. Consider alternatives if subscription specifics or a broader set of features are central to your decision; Radio Garden's clearest case is its distinctive location-first way to explore stations.
