QuickBuild review
A visual, self-managed CI server with broad source-control support and paid site licensing.

QuickBuild is a continuous integration and deployment server for development and DevOps teams that want centrally managed servers and build agents. It is designed for customer-managed infrastructure rather than a hosted CI service, with support for concurrent builds, configurable triggers, deployment pipelines, artifact publishing, test reporting, notifications, access controls, and a REST API. Teams can work through web, Windows, macOS, Linux, or API interfaces, while pull-request checks and status updates support GitHub-based development workflows.
Its visual workflow design is the standout feature. Drag-and-drop configuration, build grids, multiple agents, and parallel execution give teams a graphical way to coordinate build and deployment work. The product also supports promotions and rollback, dependency resolution, test-result trending, and role-based access control with LDAP, Active Directory, and SSO. These capabilities suit organizations that need more than basic build automation and prefer visual administration over configuration-file-driven workflows.
The pricing structure spans several use cases. The Community License includes unlimited user accounts, servers, and agents, with up to 16 configurations and forum support. Qualifying open source projects can use the Open Source License with unlimited configurations and free upgrades. The Enterprise Site License costs $3,600 USD per physical site annually and includes one year of commercial service; Commercial Service costs $2,400 USD per site annually and adds prioritized support requests, permanent licenses for eligible versions, and source code access for eligible versions. QuickBuild is a strong fit for on-premises teams needing broad source-control integration and visual pipelines, but teams seeking hosted CI or a simpler cloud-first workflow should look elsewhere.
