Our verdict on Quest
Quest is a design-to-code platform for designers and frontend developers who want to turn Figma work into editable web pages or React components. Its workflow can combine multiple device frames into one webpage, generate React components and applications, and preserve a responsive structure through configurable layout constraints. A free plan makes Quest suitable for evaluating a Figma-to-React process without starting with a paid tier.
The main strength is the depth of its design-to-code workflow. Before exporting, users can configure props, bindings, nested component values, interactions, and component structures. Quest also supports MUI and Chakra UI design kits, giving React teams a path from visual design to components that can fit established interface patterns. Export options include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and page assets, while preview and publishing features support moving from generated output to a web page.
Quest is a good fit for teams whose source material is already in Figma and whose target is React-based web development. It is less suitable when the workflow starts with screenshots, requires several input formats, or targets frameworks outside React. The product’s focus is narrower than dedicated screenshot converters, but that focus can be useful for designers and frontend developers who want responsive Figma imports, component configuration, and exportable frontend code in one web-based workflow.
