Our verdict on Qubi
Qubi is a web-based cloud back-office platform for restaurants, restaurant groups and other hospitality food operations. It brings recipe and sub-recipe management together with ingredient weights, yields, portion calculations, preparation procedures, photos, food costs, nutrition, allergen detection, inventory, purchasing, supplier management and HACCP records. Its multi-location tools support independent stock and users per site, while digital allergen books and QR-code menus extend recipe information into service operations.
The published monthly plans show a clear progression. Starter costs €38 per month excluding VAT and includes food cost and calorie calculation, allergen and intolerance management, manual or CSV data entry and supplier management. Basic costs €51 per month and adds stock and movement management, a multi-supplier cart, QR-code digital menus, a digital allergen book and inventory analytics. Premium AI costs €68 per month and adds AI recipe creation, full cost, complete analytics, recipe production and automatic order emails. The Custom plan includes everything in Premium, plus priority support, ERP/CRM and back-office integrations, customisations and advanced multi-location capabilities. A yearly option is offered with a stated 25% discount.
Qubi’s strongest fit is for teams that need operational control around recipes, allergens, HACCP and purchasing rather than a narrow recipe database. Automatic allergen detection, nutrition calculation, supplier price comparison, temperature logging and alerts, and production sheets give the platform a broad foodservice scope. The main trade-off is plan depth: advanced integrations and custom multi-location work sit in Custom, while AI and automated ordering require Premium AI.
