Quarantine-auction.com is a web-based domain backorder and auction service operated by Domeinplein. It is designed for registered users seeking quarantined domains approaching expiration, with listings focused on .NL, .BE, and .EU extensions. Buyers can search domains, filter by extension, submit binding bids, and participate in public auctions. The service also allows users to submit their own domains for auction, making it relevant to both domain buyers and sellers working within these extensions.
Access is free, while auction participation starts at €37.50 as a one-time amount. The published auction model does not use recurring plan tiers: users participate through individual domain bids. Autobid lets a buyer set a maximum bid and have the system bid automatically within that limit. After a winning bid and payment, the domain is registered for the customer through Domeinwinkel. If the registration attempt fails, no payment is required, which defines a clear boundary between winning an auction and successfully registering the domain.
The service has a narrow extension focus and is available through the web, so it suits buyers specifically interested in quarantined .NL, .BE, or .EU domains rather than broader domain coverage. Binding bids require care before submission, and the platform's value depends on finding relevant listings within its supported inventory. Choose Quarantine-auction.com for filtered quarantine listings, automatic proxy bidding, and registration attempts tied to individual auctions. Buyers seeking other extensions or a wider domain-management platform should choose an alternative.
