Our verdict on Pulsus

Pulsus brings mobile application and device management into a cloud service with a web console and mobile device agent. It is aimed at organizations managing corporate smartphones, tablets and other endpoints, including field teams. For teams whose priority is distributing and controlling Android and iOS apps, it combines app deployment with inventory reporting, launcher controls, security restrictions and remote device actions. Its scope is centered on mobile endpoints rather than broad desktop management, despite support for web, Android, iOS, Windows and macOS platforms.

App distribution is the clearest strength. On Android, Pulsus supports public and private distribution through Managed Google Play, along with APK upload and Android Enterprise enrollment in fully managed or work-profile modes. For iOS, it supports centralized App Store deployment to device groups, with Apple Business Manager (VPP) among its listed integrations. Administrators can remotely update apps, customize launchers, restrict apps, and apply policies covering screenshots, USB transfer and factory resets. These capabilities suit teams that need app control alongside device-level safeguards, rather than an app catalog alone.

The published plans name Inventory Plus, Management and Pro, but pricing is contact-sales, with monthly or annual per-device licensing described by the vendor. Inventory Plus includes device inventory reporting, distribution and management of one Android and one iOS application, plus audit logs and security controls. A 15-day free trial is advertised. Pulsus also lists lock, unlock, wipe, reboot and synchronization actions, as well as location tracking, geofencing, driver mode controls, alerts and SAML single sign-on. Email and documentation are listed support channels. Teams should consider Pulsus when mobile app deployment and protection are central; those seeking transparent pricing or a broader endpoint-management focus may prefer alternatives.
