Psycruit is an online psychometric assessment service for recruitment, onboarding and employee development. It supports personality questionnaires, cognitive ability tests, situational judgement tests and assessment-centre exercises, giving organizations several established testing formats in one platform. The service is suited to employers that want structured insight into work styles, strengths and performance-related behaviours, with tools for candidate selection and suitability scoring. It is presented by Clevry, whose current platform includes the Psycruit assessment offering.

The commercial model combines pay-as-you-go assessment options with a Managed Assessment Service. Published pay-as-you-go plans cover ability tests, situational judgement tests, personality questionnaires, and group and leadership reports. The Managed Assessment Service adds assessment administration plus insights and recommendations. Subscription pricing is quote-based and estimated according to company size, so Psycruit is a better fit for organizations prepared to discuss requirements than for buyers seeking a self-serve, published subscription. There is no free plan.

Platform fit is a notable strength. Psycruit runs on the web and provides API access, with integrations for SmartRecruiters, Lever, Oracle, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oleeo, eArcu, Cornerstone, Eploy, Recman, Jobtrain, JXT and Jobylon. Teams can customize assessments and assessment flows, apply employer branding to the platform and reports, and use recorded video interviews alongside testing. Anti-cheat prevention and result verification support controlled assessment delivery. Organizations wanting a broad, branded psychometric workflow with ATS connectivity should consider Psycruit; teams needing only a narrow, low-complexity screening tool may prefer a simpler alternative.

Psycruit pros and cons

    • Connects with major ATS platforms and includes anti-cheat controls
  • Where it doesn't
    • Subscription pricing requires a sales quote
    • Its broad assessment suite may exceed simpler hiring needs
    • Assessment administration is a separate managed service
