A budget-focused managed phpBB host with backups, updates, migration help, and broad support.

ProfesionalHosting phpBB Hosting provides CloudLinux hosting configured for phpBB forums and online communities. It is aimed at forum owners who want managed hosting rather than a server they maintain themselves. The service runs on the web and includes Plesk Obsidian, NVMe storage, unlimited data transfer, daily backups, SSL options, antispam protection, an auto installer, and phpBB-focused security rules. Its automatic updates and migration assistance make it suited to administrators moving an existing forum or starting a new one.
Pricing is structured around two plans. Phpbb Home costs €7.10 per month for one hosted site, 5GB of NVMe storage, Plesk Obsidian, and daily backup. The same plan is listed at €21.31 per quarter with a 5% discount, €41.45 per 6 months with a 10% discount, €74.04 per year with a 20% discount, or €118.45 per 2 years with a 25% discount. Phpbb Project costs €10.65 per month for five hosted sites and 10GB of NVMe storage, with Plesk Obsidian and daily backup. Quarterly pricing is €31.97 with a 5% discount, while 6-month pricing is €59.21 with a 10% discount. Prices exclude VAT.
The strongest fit is for owners who value a managed phpBB environment and several support routes. Email, tickets, phone, and chat support are paired with free forum or website migration assistance, while Let's Encrypt or professional SSL and mail antispam protection cover common hosting needs. The main trade-off is scope: the service is web hosting for phpBB rather than a broader platform, and the entry plan is limited to one site and 5GB. Choose it for cost-conscious communities that want updates, backups, and hosting administration handled; users seeking a free plan or a non-web solution should look elsewhere.
