PrivacyEvo is a data privacy management application for businesses, privacy professionals, consultants and data protection officers. Its core workflow covers processing-activity records, regulatory document generation, DPIAs, risk analysis, breach management, personnel training and customizable templates. It runs in desktop or web mode on Windows and the web, with projects stored locally or in the cloud. Consultants can manage multiple client projects, while organizations can use it for a single activity or broader privacy documentation work.

Pricing is structured around annual and monthly options. The Free Edition includes one user, five subjects, three processing activities, unlimited documents, local or cloud project storage, and desktop or web access; the vendor presents it as limited to up to one year. A seven-day free trial is also available. The Single activity plan costs EUR 120 per year and adds unlimited subjects, unlimited processing activities, unlimited documents, and single- or multi-user support. For consultants, the published plan shows EUR 160 per month with multi-user access and the same unlimited subjects, activities and documents. The published materials also describe annual subscriptions in their terms, so consultants should clarify billing before purchase.

PrivacyEvo’s strongest fit is assessment and documentation work rather than broad data-operations management. Its CNIL-based DPIAs, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and ENISA risk analysis, breach reporting, training management and generative-AI drafting assistance give privacy teams a concentrated compliance toolkit. Encrypted local or cloud storage and project access permissions support controlled collaboration. Choose it if your priority is producing and organizing privacy assessments across one or more projects. Organizations that prioritize automated discovery, DSAR management or retention management should compare it with a product built around those operational workflows.

PrivacyEvo pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • DPIAs follow the CNIL methodology, with ISO and ENISA risk analysis.
    • Generates regulatory documents in bulk and supports customizable templates.
    • Combines local or cloud storage, permissions and integrated generative AI.
  • Where it doesn't
    • Automated discovery and searchable personal-data inventory are outside its stated scope.
    • DSAR and retention-management workflows are not part of the listed feature set.
    • Consultant pricing is substantially higher than the single-activity plan.
