Privacy Browser Android review
A privacy-focused Android browser with detailed controls and strong filtering options.

Privacy Browser Android is an open-source web browser for Android designed to reduce data sent to websites and data stored on the device. It suits Android users who want more control than standard browser settings provide, especially those interested in configurable privacy rules, local data cleanup and filter-based ad and tracker blocking. The browser disables privacy-sensitive features by default and includes incognito mode that clears cache and history after page loads.
Its main strength is the depth of its privacy controls. Integrated EasyList ad blocking combines with UltraPrivacy and EasyPrivacy tracker filtering, while users can optionally block all third-party requests. Per-domain settings allow privacy behavior to be adjusted for individual websites. SSL certificate pinning adds another security-focused control, and bookmark and settings import/export supports moving configurations between installations. Tor Orbot proxy support also gives users an additional privacy-routing option within the Android ecosystem.
Distribution is flexible for Android users: the browser is available through F-Droid and direct APK downloads, with additional distribution through Google Play, Amazon Appstore and Galaxy App Store. The trade-off is a narrow platform scope, since the product is Android-only. It is a strong fit for users who value open-source software and granular privacy configuration on Android. Users who need one browser across desktop, iOS and Android should choose a broader cross-platform alternative.
