Preferred Patron is a cloud-based loyalty and retention platform for restaurants, bars, pubs, grills, hospitality businesses, and multi-location brands. It combines points, rewards, digital stamp cards, cashback, tiers, targeted promotions, automated email and SMS marketing, mobile member access, gift cards, reporting, and referral acknowledgements. The Small Business plan is designed for small businesses and independents with 1–3 locations, while the Growth plans add deeper program controls for expanding operations.
Pricing is structured around annual agreements paid monthly, according to the vendor’s pricing page. Small Business costs $29 per month and includes SMS and email marketing, plus scalable member capacity. Growth Core costs $199 per location per month and adds digital rewards, bonus point boosters, multiple reward programs, win-back automation, referral acknowledgements, and a REST transaction API. Growth Plus costs $249 per location per month and adds an advanced points engine, program tiers, coupons, survey and review collection, and additional integration options. Growth Max costs $299 per location per month and adds Patron Outreach for non-members, unlimited program tiers, cashback earning rules, webhooks, and multi-location discounts. Month-to-month terms add 40%.
Its platform fit is broader than a basic digital punch-card tool. Preferred Patron supports web, iOS, Android, and API access, with integrations for Lightspeed X-Series, Square POS, QuickBooks Online, PostcardMania, and ActiveCampaign. REST API and webhook options provide another route for custom connections and multi-location customer management. The product suits independent restaurants and growing groups that want loyalty, marketing automation, and gift cards in one system. Businesses seeking a free plan, a self-service free trial, or a narrower low-complexity rewards tool should look elsewhere.
