Powell 365 is a digital workplace and employee portal built on Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Teams. It gives HR, IT and communications teams tools for branded pages, targeted homepages, self-service publishing, search, collaboration templates and governance. Web, iOS and Android access supports office, remote and frontline employees, while features such as recognition, booking and gamification extend the portal beyond a document hub. The platform is aimed at mid-market and enterprise organizations that want an employee experience within their Microsoft environment.
Pricing is quote-based. The Foundation plan covers design, styling and layouts, content planning, audiencing, a mobile app experience, configurable search, and an org chart with a skill-based directory. Boost adds Foundation features plus native newsletters, contribution campaign management, guided tours, AI-assisted content creation and search-as-you-speak. Advanced includes Foundation features with advanced analytics, success monitoring, vertical AI and grounded assistants, dynamic knowledge bases, AI OS Studio and Virtual Employee Journey capabilities. Buyers should match the tier to whether they need publishing and targeting, engagement workflows, or deeper analytics and AI functions.
Powell 365 fits organizations invested in SharePoint, Teams and Microsoft 365, with integrations for Power Automate, Power BI, Outlook, Dynamics 365, ServiceNow, Workday and ADP. Teams lifecycle governance, dashboards and reports support administrative oversight, while ISO 27001, SSO through SAML and two-factor authentication provide stated security controls. Customer support is available through tickets and documentation. Organizations seeking a Microsoft-centered portal with branded communications and mobile reach should consider Powell 365; teams wanting a platform independent of Microsoft 365 may prefer another portal approach.
