Play Digital Signage is a cloud-based platform for creating, scheduling, publishing, and remotely managing digital signage across TVs and media players. It suits individuals, small businesses, multi-location organizations, schools, and enterprises that need visual content such as images, video, text, web pages, documents, social feeds, RSS, live streams, audio, maps, and calendars. The service supports web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, giving teams several options for managing screens and players.
Pricing follows a freemium structure. The Free Screen plan provides one free screen without requiring a credit card, while the Essential plan adds templates, scheduling, an editor, and a media library. Pro adds Slide Conditions, Alerts, an API, sub-teams, and Premium Apps. Ultimate adds analytics, audit logs, dashboard reporting, Ad Cycle, and AudienceAware. The published starting price is $8 per screen per month, billed monthly. Canva, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Maps, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Notion, Power BI, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo, and RSS are supported integrations.
Its strongest fit is for organizations that need more than basic playlist playback. Offline playback keeps published content available on the media player, while screen groups, zones, screen sharing, alerts, role-based teams, sub-teams, and a public API support more structured operations. The visual editor and media library address content creation, and the platform includes analytics and audit logs at the highest tier. Smaller deployments can start with one free screen, but the free option is not suited to multi-screen programs, and teams that need advanced reporting must choose Ultimate.
