Planity Pro review
A salon booking platform with staff tools and optional POS, inventory, and payment-terminal features.

Planity Pro brings salon appointment booking and day-to-day management together for hair salons, barbershops, beauty institutes, nail bars, and wellness businesses. Clients can book, reschedule, or cancel online through Planity.com, while teams manage staff availability, service assignments, customer records, and waiting lists. The service is available on web, iOS, and Android, with Instagram and Google listed as integrations. Salons looking to capture marketplace bookings alongside their own operating tools may find the combined approach a good fit; businesses seeking only a basic calendar may not need its broader management features.
The package structure determines how much of that breadth a salon gets. Agenda includes an online calendar, customer-record management, deposits and prepayment, a social-media booking button, and 300 SMS reminders per month on the French pricing page. Agenda + Caisse adds an NF525-certified point of sale, inventory management, online sales of gift cards and services, and accounting-data exports. Agenda + Caisse + TPE adds an integrated payment terminal, suggested tipping, email receipts, and daily transfers. According to the vendor’s pricing pages, packages require contacting a consultant; plan amounts are not published. Salons should therefore compare the package features with their payment and retail needs directly before choosing.
The scheduling tools go beyond taking bookings: daily and weekly calendars are available for each staff member, with automated email confirmations and SMS reminders, custom cancellation policies, and partial or full prepayment. Waiting-list notifications can alert clients when a slot opens, helping salons manage released appointments. POS and inventory are optional parts of the package structure rather than core Agenda features, so a business that needs checkout and retail management should look at Agenda + Caisse or the TPE tier. Planity Pro suits salons wanting booking plus operational tools in one service, especially those using the Planity marketplace; a salon seeking a standalone calendar or a published-price plan may prefer to compare alternatives.
