Our verdict on PipesHub
PipesHub is an open-source workplace AI platform for enterprise search, knowledge retrieval, and workflow automation. It connects business systems including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Atlassian, Slack, Google Drive, Jira, GitHub, Notion, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Zendesk, and Zoom. Its core audience is teams that want searchable company knowledge, permission-aware retrieval, source-linked citations, and AI agents without starting with a paid license.
Community Edition costs $0 USD forever and is self-hosted. It includes core indexing, search, and explainability, plus bring-your-own LLMs and embeddings, permission-aware ingestion, a no-code agent builder, REST APIs, SDKs, and MCP support. Enterprise Edition extends the deployment choices to cloud SaaS, hybrid BYOC, VPC, on-premises, and air-gapped environments. It also adds 50+ connectors, multi-tenancy, SSO and SCIM, RBAC, granular access controls, an admin console, audit logs, and observability. Enterprise pricing is handled through contact sales, so the free Community Edition is the clearest fit for teams prioritizing budget control and deployment ownership.
