Ping Identity Platform is an enterprise identity and access management platform for customer, workforce, partner and non-human identities. It brings together single sign-on, identity directories, lifecycle automation, authorization, governance, adaptive authentication, MFA, threat detection and no-code orchestration. Its deployment options cover cloud, dedicated-tenant, self-managed and hybrid environments, making it suited to organizations with varied application estates and identity use cases.

Pricing is structured across customer and workforce packages. PingOne for Customers Essential includes no-code identity orchestration, SSO, authentication policies, customer profile management, inbound provisioning and LDAP connectivity. Customers Plus adds adaptive MFA, multiple authentication methods, FIDO2-bound biometrics, security keys and API access management. PingOne for Workforce Essential starts at $3 per user per month with annual billing and includes SSO, directory services, major identity protocols, provisioning and legacy connectivity. Workforce Plus is $6 per user per month with annual billing and adds adaptive MFA, Microsoft ecosystem integrations, passwordless authentication and FIDO support. A 30-day trial is available.

The platform's main strength is breadth. It supports OpenID Connect, SAML, WS-Federation and OAuth 2.0, along with SCIM and REST API provisioning. Named integrations include Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Workday and LDAP, while its capabilities extend across access reviews, group-based controls and real-time risk analysis. Large enterprises with complex workforce and customer identity requirements should consider Ping Identity Platform. Smaller organizations seeking a narrow, simpler IAM deployment may find its scope and workforce minimum less suitable.
