Our verdict on PhotoCollage
PhotoCollage is a Windows desktop application for creating photo collages locally on a computer. It suits people who want direct canvas editing rather than an account-based workflow: images can be dragged onto a canvas, moved, resized and cropped, then arranged with backgrounds, text, drawings, decorative shapes, borders and drop shadows. Brightness, contrast, saturation and hue controls provide basic image correction, while six adjustable filters add further styling. It supports full-resolution export and requires no sign-up or account.
The free version is useful for evaluating the editor and producing full-resolution collages, but it adds a watermark to both the canvas and exported work. The Full version costs €29.99 as a one-time payment and removes that restriction while unlocking every feature. It also includes updates and a lifetime licence, with no subscription. That pricing structure is straightforward for users who prefer a single purchase, although the paid cost matters more for occasional collage projects than for regular desktop use.
