pganalyze review
Deep PostgreSQL tuning with production plans starting at $149 per month.

pganalyze is a PostgreSQL performance monitoring and tuning platform for database administrators, developers, and infrastructure teams. It collects query statistics, logs, connection activity, and execution plans, then presents historical analysis, alerts, dashboards, and optimization recommendations. Its focus is PostgreSQL, with support for hosted cloud use, API access, and Enterprise Server deployment on-premises or in a private cloud.
The monthly plans separate core monitoring from deeper tuning and operational controls. Production costs $149 per month for one database server, 14 days of historic statistics, Index Advisor, Automated Health Checks, and Team Collaboration. Scale costs $399 per month and includes up to four database servers, 35 days of historic statistics, Index and Query Advisor, query plans using auto_explain, VACUUM Advisor, and Log Insights with PII filtering. Enterprise adds 100 days of historic statistics, SSO, role-based access control, local deployment, volume discounts, and tailored pricing.
Its strongest fit is teams that need detailed PostgreSQL diagnosis rather than broad database coverage. Per-query performance statistics, automatic EXPLAIN plan collection, plan visualization, index recommendations, VACUUM and autovacuum guidance, wait-event and lock monitoring, and PostgreSQL log analysis create a focused tuning toolkit. Integrations include Amazon RDS and Aurora, Microsoft Azure Flexible Server, Google Cloud SQL and AlloyDB, Heroku Postgres, Crunchy Bridge, Aiven, Supabase, Neon, and self-managed PostgreSQL. Choose pganalyze when PostgreSQL depth and deployment flexibility matter; choose an alternative when one platform must monitor multiple database technologies.
