Persian Download Manager is a free Windows application for organizing file downloads. It suits solo users and small teams that want browser handoff, scheduled transfers and controls for queues, priorities and speed. The Windows build is listed as compatible with Windows 10 and 11. Extensions for Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox can pass download links to the application and capture supported media, including video from supported sites. Its interface is available in Persian, English, Arabic, German and Turkish.

The free plan covers the product's core transfer features without a paid tier to compare. Multi-part downloads can use up to 16 parallel connections when the server supports them, while interrupted transfers can resume, including after a system restart when supported by the server. Scheduling supports start, stop and repeat times, and queues can be configured with priorities. Speed limits apply either to an individual download or the whole application. Automatic categorization by file type helps organize completed files, and usage reports can be exported to CSV for review.

Platform fit is focused rather than broad: deployment is a Windows desktop app with a browser extension, and HTTP, HTTPS and FTP are supported. Browser handoff works across Chrome, Edge and Firefox, giving users several common browser paths into the manager. The product does not provide remote control, and the vendor lists a portable build as coming soon. Server behavior also affects whether parallel connections and resume work as intended. Choose Persian Download Manager if you need a free Windows-focused tool with scheduling and usage reporting; users requiring remote access, a portable build now, or broader platform coverage should consider another manager.

    • Windows-only deployment limits cross-platform use
    • No remote-control feature is provided
    • Parallel connections and resume depend on server support
