Paytm Payment Links review
A strong fit for high-volume collections, with basic checkout customization.

Paytm Payment Links helps merchants collect online payments without building a website or integrating a payment gateway. Links can be created from the Paytm dashboard, Business App, or APIs, then shared through SMS, email, WhatsApp, or social media. The product is suited to businesses that need a broad payment mix and a practical way to manage many payment requests, including teams handling follow-ups, customer information, and reconciliation.
Its strongest area is operational breadth. Merchants can accept more than 100 payment instruments, enable partial payments, attach customer forms and product details, and create bulk payment links. Automatic reminders support follow-up collection, while dashboard tracking, reconciliation, and refunds cover important steps after a link is sent. API support also gives businesses a way to create links programmatically, making the product more suitable for higher-volume workflows than a link tool limited to manual creation.
The published plans show transaction-based rates rather than a separate monthly Payment Links subscription. The Small Medium Business plan lists different MDR rates by payment method, including 0% MDR for standard UPI and RuPay debit cards, 1.99% for Paytm Bank Wallet and credit cards, and a separate rate for international payment gateway transactions. Mastercard and Visa debit card rates vary by transaction band. The Enterprise plan uses custom pricing based on business requirements. Paytm Payment Links should appeal to merchants prioritizing payment coverage, reminders, bulk operations, and API access; businesses needing advanced checkout customization or recurring subscription billing should look to a more specialized option.
