Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a single-player fantasy role-playing game set in the Pathfinder universe. It suits RPG fans who want to create a detailed hero, recruit companions and guide a campaign against demons in the Worldwound. Character creation uses Pathfinder First Edition rules, with multiple classes and races, while appearance and equipment can also be customized. The game is designed for desktop play on Windows and macOS, with controller input available on PC.

Character progression is a central draw: nine Mythic Paths shape both the hero’s abilities and the story. Party play sits alongside a choice of real-time-with-pause or turn-based combat, and players can switch between those modes. Inventory search and an enhanced battle log support navigating equipment and combat information, while PC photo mode provides a way to capture screenshots. These systems make the game a fit for players who want multiple layers of character and combat decisions rather than a narrowly focused RPG.

The crusade layer broadens the campaign beyond party encounters. Players recruit troops, manage armies and fight separate tactical battles, adding strategic responsibilities to the adventure. That breadth will appeal to players interested in managing both a hero’s progression and a larger campaign; those seeking only party-based encounters may prefer an RPG without an army-management layer. It is a paid game with no free plan, and it is single-player rather than an online multiplayer option. Choose it for its Pathfinder character options, flexible combat and campaign systems; look elsewhere if multiplayer is essential or crusade management is not appealing.
