Patchd review
A capable Windows mixer with routing, DSP, recording, and voice tools.

Patchd is desktop audio routing and mixing software for Windows. It separates microphones, applications, games, virtual cables, and hardware devices into channels, then routes them to outputs and buses. The feature set targets streamers, podcasters, producers, gamers, and other creators who need to mix, monitor, record, or move audio between applications and devices. Its toolkit includes per-application volume control, color-coded routing, DSP effects, AI noise suppression, multi-track recording, voice effects, auto-ducking, global hotkeys, and hardware-control integrations.
The free plan is unusually broad for daily mixing work. It includes a full mixer, 13 DSP nodes on every channel, color-coded routing, per-app volume control, six Persona voices on weekly rotation, and unlimited preset saves. Patchd also lists virtual cables, hardware outputs, recording, and AI noise suppression among its core capabilities. Studio costs $5.99 per month and adds the full Persona voice library, AI Vocals, all 35 DSP nodes, VST3 plugin support, and app skins. The published plans show monthly pricing; Studio is also offered annually and as a lifetime license.
Patchd’s main strength is the combination of routing depth and channel-level processing in one Windows-focused tool. Stream Deck and Touch Portal integrations add control options, while VST3 support in Studio expands its plugin ecosystem. The trade-off is platform scope: this is a Windows product rather than a cross-platform audio utility. Studio is also the necessary choice for the complete DSP catalog, full voice library, and VST3 hosting. Choose Patchd if you want detailed application routing, mixing, and creator-oriented audio effects on Windows. Choose an alternative if you need support beyond Windows or prefer software outside an open beta.
